We are now in the Third Courtyard of the Prague Castle. Next to the St Vitus Cathedral is the small house of the Old Provosty, the former seat of the Prague bishops. It was built in the 11th century. Just in front of that is an obelisk, a 16m high granite monolith, that acts as a World War I memorial.
